Tours of the President's Mansion

The President's Mansion is one of Panem's greatest attractions, serving as the home for the past 9 Presidents, both famous and infamous. Now, it is open for public tours, where you can walk the large halls, peruse the libraries, admire the gardens, and even pose for pictures in the President's Office. 

 

Note that the Mansion may be closed during high profile government meetings, states of emergency, or during state visits/ceremonies. For more information on setting up a tour, please see below. 

Scheduling a Tour

Scheduling a tour of the Presidential Mansion is easy. There is no cost or fee required, however there may be delays due to high volumes of traffic. All prospective tourists must first complete our application here online (see below). Some basic rules are below:

  1. Tours are divided into four categories: General Tours which consist of a basic tour of the mansion including main halls and rooms as well as of the library and gardens (30 minutes), Historical Tours which are in depth tours looking at the various Presidents and history of mansion hitting primarily specific rooms and artifacts and parts of the gardens (2 hours), Meetings which are usually small discussions or meets with President Everdeen (15 minutes), and Garden Tours which consist of an indepth tour of the gardens (usually lasting 30 minutes).

  2. The capacity of general tours and garden tours are 40 persons while historical tours are 20 persons and the capacity of meetings with the President are usually limited to one to five people at a time. 

  3. Because of the quanity of individuals applying for tours, you should apply a few months in advance to get slot you requested. Tours usually occur between 10 am and 3 pm on Mondays through Saturdays with the exception of special events or occasions.

  4. Weapons and other lethal devices are prohibited inside the Mansion or any of its surrounding properties.

  5. Tours may be subject to cancellation upon decision of the President's Office.
